Clarion River Cabins

Ready for that relaxing trip down the river?  Want to shoot the X,Y,Z rapids on the Clarion in a kayak or canoe?  Or maybe you just want to take a lazy tube float down the river.

Lou's Canoes has just what you need!  We rent by the trip and shuttle you up the river to float down to our dock.

Conveniently located on the Clarion River next to Clarion River Cabins, 1 mile downriver from Spring Creek inlet in Hallton at the Shanley Hill bridge.

Portland to Spring Creek --approx 9.5 mi.- 6-7 hours

Arroyo to Spring Creek --approx 6 mi.- 4-5 hours

Irwin Run to Spring Creek --approx 2.2 mi.- 1-2 hours

Portland to Irwin Run --approx 7.2 mi.  5-6 hours

Portland to Arroyo --approx 3.5 mi.- 2-3 hours

Arroyo to Irwin Run -- approx 3.8 mi.-3-4 hours

Lou's to Belltown --approx 7 mi. 5-6 hours

Lou's to Robin Island -- approx 3-4 hours.

Canoes will comfortably seat two, two paddles per canoe, extra PFD rental for third person -- POR

Business Hours:

Beginning with the Friday before Memorial Day and Ending on Labor Day, Lou's is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 8pm.

Monday through Thursday by appointment only. 

All watercraft must be returned to Lou's by 8pm unless other arrangements have been made.

We also sell live bait, fire wood, cold water and soft drinks, T-shirts, and coozies.
